My dad and I waited in line for 2 and a half hours to have John Green sign my friend’s book and my program, and to be able to see him in person. It was really was worth the long and hot wait. He was just as friendly as he was when I met him at Tour De Nerdfighting, and he seemed just as excited.
Seeing John in person seems to validate that who he is and what he does is real. He and Hank are not just figures in a screen or a guy who wrote a book. They mean so much to the Nerdfighters and to John’s readers.
I will take every chance I get to see John and Hank IRL. If you ever have the opportunity, go to a signing or to a tour. It’s worth it and you will not regret it.

I never really was that active in Nerdfighteria’s doings until I found my fellow Ohio nerdfighters on Facebook. :)
I just can’t bare to watch Hank’s ‘The Lizzie Bennet Diaries’ not because I dislike people adapting with the book (I love the Zombie and Manga versions) but because I tried watching the first episode and they totally missed the point of the character of Elizabeth Bennet.
